Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Possibility of using InSb oxide film as the material of submillimeter wave dielectric guides was studied with two experimental methods. First, permittivity of InSb oxide film was estimated in the submillimeter wave frequency range utilizing the effect of oxide film on the slow surface wave resonance in a two-layer parallel-plate waveguide. Next, transverse power distribution in oxide film dielectric guide was measured with a probe which moves in the direction perpendicular to that of the wave propagation. The results show concentration of the propagating power to the oxide film.
