Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The authors have developed the interactive modeling interface "Silhouette-Box". A virtual object is generated based on silhouettes that is drawn in three surfaces of the box. The interface bridges the mental gap between modeling and inspection by using the same real object . It brings a smooth idea circulation in modeling. The intended virtual object can not be necessarily made, because the silhouette is drawn individually. It is important to understand and correct the problem of the silhouette by comparing a virtual object with the silhouette. In this paper, the authors attempt to apply to space figure learning by making the best use of feature on the interface. And, the authors reports on the field experiment.
