Radiation of pulse traveling wave at a wire bend

Abstract(in English) Recently, radiation from a bend of a transmission line on a circuit board attracts a lot of interest. This report shows a radiation mechanism from a bend of wire following the theory of discontinuous point radiation. FDTD analysis of the bend wire is performed in order to clarify the radiation mechanism. From the FDTD analysis, it is shown that the radiation contains the one from the feeding point. Therefore, the radiation from the bend can be obtained by subtracting the radiation from the feeding point.
