Simulation of a Microwave Snow Melting System Using the FDTD Method and Its Evaluation of Melting Snow

Abstract(in English) It is the one analyzed by the FDTD method so that this research may optimize the slot cycle corresponding to distance of the waveguide of the slotted array antenna for the snow melting system length and the interval along with the measurement of microwave heating snow system. Moreover, the method of processing an appropriate image when it aims to control the power supply where the image data processing was used for the running cost saving of the microwave snow melting system, and the melting of snow area is judged is examined. The electric field distribution when the microwave was input in the simulation and the waveguide of microwave heating snow system that used the FDTD method, and the slot was opened was calculated. When the number of slots was increased, it became the result of the radiation electric power's rapidly increasing. It has been understood that the radiation electric power to the slot width has the wavelength dependency. Moreover, the melting of snow area could be distinguished by processing of making to binary by the image data processing.
