Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, we show array antenna performances for UWB/CDMA in a multi-path fading environment. And we propose a system that makes the antenna pattern in the direction of a desired wave. Until now, the array antenna with tapped delay line is discussed as an effective method in a multi-path fading environment. It is difficult to make the null direction to various undesired waves in the multi-path fading environment. Therefore, the system of single beam pattern for a desired wave is desirable. Then, we propose a new antenna system that makes the antenna pattern in the direction of the desired wave and does not make null in the direction of the undesired wave, and the system employs RAKE reception. We confirm the performance of the proposed method by using computer simulations.
