| 抄録(和) | シーンを照明する光源を分類することは,照明光の分光分布を推定するよりも,むしろ多くの画像象応用において有用といえる.ここでは色温度によってシーン照明を分類するための照明分類アルゴリズムを検討している.このためにFinlaysonらによって提案された相関法を変形する.既知光源の下での較正画像に基づいて,我々は赤と青のセンサの正規化出力値を用いる改善した相関法を提案する.このアルゴリズムは照明光の色温度の違いを明瞭に捕えることができる.このような提案手法を実際のシーンの画像データベースの適用する.さらに照明光の色温度が推定できれば,異なる照明光の下で同じ物体を撮影したときのカメラ出力を予測することが可能であることを示す. |
| 抄録(英) | Classification of scene illumination, rather than estimation of the full spectral power distribution of the illumination, is appropriate and useful for many imaging application. We analyze illuminant classification algorithms designed to group scene illuminant by color temperature. A version of the correlation method suggested by Finlayson et al. is used. Using calibrated images with known illuminants, we propose the improved correlation method by using a scaled version of the red and blue sensor responses. The algorithm is more sensitive to differences in illuminant color temperature. The proposed method is applied to an image database of real scene. Moreover we show that once the illuminant color temperature is estimated, it is possible to predict the camera sensor responses for the same objects viewed under a different illuminant color temperature. |
