Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) For the image analysis of facial expressions, we treat with the information which are not only gray levels of pixels but also positions of feature points. For each information, we apply the eigenspace method based on class features, and calculate the similarity measure between a given image and a dictionary image of each facial expression class. In this paper, we integrate both information and define the integrated similarity measures by using the linear combination and stochastic models. Using these measures, we make the experiments of facial expression recognition and show the results.
