Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a height measurement method for multi-directional stereoscopic satellite images. This method can improve the accuracy of height measurement by reducing the effect of random noise and of the invisible region. However the method causes increase of data rate. So we apply an efficient data compression method for multi-directional stereoscopic images which uses correlation between adjacent images and lossy compression technique. Simulation results show the proposed method is effective to get high accuracy results without increasing data rate.
