Tsallis entropy and scale-space

Abstract(in English) The method of selecting the most appropriate resolution for images with Renyi entropy is proposed by Sporring and Weickert. According to this method, the scaling paramter is given by the extremal value for Renyi entropy in the scale-space and this is used to select the most appropriate resolution for images. On the other hands, Tsallis entropy as one of the generalized entropy is famous for its usefulness in physics. So, we adopt Tsallis entropy in this method and give some experiments to show the difference between Renyi entropy and Tsallis entropy.
