| 抄録(和) | 本研究は、物理モデルであるポテンシャルネットを用いて顔領域の推定および表情認識を行うことを目的とする。これまで、ポテンシャルネットとKL展開を組み合わせた表情認識の一手法を提案してきたが、認識を行うのに必要な目口を含む顔領域の位置を、手作業で合わせる必要があった。これはマンマシンインターフェイスに有効な表情認識において、大きな問題点と考えられる。そこで本研究では、表情認識と同じポテンシャルネットを用いたパターンマッチングにより自動的に顔領域のセグメンテーションし、得られた顔領域から表情認識を行う手法を提案する。 |
| 抄録(英) | The purpose of this study is detection of human faces in an image and recognition of their facial expressions using Potential Net. Previously, we proposed a method to recognize facial expression using Potential Net and KL expansion. On this method, it was necessary to assign a face area manually. This manual process will be got in the way of applying recognition of facial expression to man machine interaction. In this paper, we propose a method to automatically detect human facees by pattern matching using Potential Net and to recognize facial expressions of detected face area. |
