Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This report proposes a call admission control scheme with location prediction for wireless ATM. Using location prediction, this scheme restricts admission of a call which originates near a base station with little available band. Thus the scheme can effectively control the call admission. We compare the performance of the proposed scheme with that of a scheme without the prediction by computer simulation. The result indicates that the proposed sheme can reduce call dropping probability.
