Performance Measurement of a Retransmission-Based Error Recovery Scheme for Continuous Media (RVTR) over the Internet

Abstract(in English) This report presents experimental results of the performance of RVTR, which was proposed by the authors, over the Internet. RVTR is an enhanced virtual-time rendering media synchronization scheme with retransmission-based error recovery. This report first describes technical issues for applying RVTR to audio-video transmission over the Internet. Also, its performance including media synchronization quality was measured by experiment.
