Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Highly realistic surrounding display systems and its application have been actively developed. A surrounding display system in which a series of multiple or curved surface displays enclose a user within a highly realistic visual space. We have been developing a method to measure "presence" through the use of induced movement. We compared subject's body sway when CG were presented by two types of triple-screen surrounding displays and a normal display. Moreover, we applied multivariate autoregressive model to quantitatively analyze causal relation between subject's body sway and movement of CG image. The results showed that a triple-screen display more increased subjects' bodysway than the other conditions.
