Abstract(in English) | The standpoint of our research is to discover unknown important physical factors to reproduce the tone quality of the high order sensations. We have found that the jitter is a major deterioration factor to reproduce the high order sensations. In this paper, we have forcibly added jitters (peak-to-peak ± 88.6ps and 2Hz sinusoidal) to a bit stream of digital audio interface, and we have carried out a subjective assessment test focusing on the reproduction of high order sensations. As a result, we have found that the reproduction of high order sensations is largely deteriorated, even through in a case of a added jitter amplitude was as small as peak-to-peak ± 88.6ps. Furthermore, we have quantitatively measured the influence of forcibly added jitters directly measuring an analog output signal of CD player. |
