Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | Recognition of human expressions is necessary for human-computer interactive applications. Human gesture is one of the typical methods of nonverbal communication for human beings and we naturally use various gestures to express our own intentions in everyday life. A vision system is suitable for recognition of human expressions since this involves passive sensing and the human gestures can be recognized without any discomfort for the user. This paper describes the work on human-computer interaction in our laboratories. |
