| 抄録(和) | 顔面表情認知の心理学研究は、従来から工学の分野で開発された様々な技術によって進展を遂げてきている。特に、最近の画像処理技術の発展は、この分野の実験パラダイムそのものを変革するほどの影響を与えようとしている。本稿では、特に表情認知研究で使用する刺激の問題に焦点をあて、まずこれまでの研究で用いられてきた刺激とその問題点を論じる。次いで、最近の工学の分野における画像処理技術、特に顔画像合成技術の動向を概観し、そのような最新の画像処理技術が、表情認知の心理学研究に与える意味について考察する。さらに、現状における画像合成技術の導入状況を報告する。 |
| 抄録(英) | This article addresses an issue on stimulus construction or presentation in psychological research on the perception and recognition of facial expressions of emotion. First of all, this article reviewed existing research and pointed out that the traditional media for presenting stimuli (facial expressions) had a difficulty in antinomonic nature between fidelity (reality) and experimental manipulation. Secondly, the article reviewed the recent development of facial image processing technology, especially facial image synthesis technology, and indicated that the technology would seem to provide a solution of the antimony above. Finally, the article reported the current state of ongoing works using the modern technology. |
