Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Psychological experiments on face processing often use synthesized faces. The landmarks influence the facial images results. Our facial image generating system uses pre-defined landmarks that are manually specified on the face. We conducted three studies to evaluate the accuracy of manual specifications of landmarks. From the results, we found that we can get better quality landmarks by methods such as enlarging an image, indicating support-lines, and showing a reference image.
