A Study on Quantitative Analysis of Batting Form of Baseball

Abstract(in English) In general, skillful players can estimate the expertisement of other players byobserving their plays. Though there have been many studies on motion analysisusing advanced motion measurement technologies, few studies on relation betweenthe estimation of player's skill and their plays have been reported. Thus, judgementof plays and technical consultation in many sports are depend on decision by experienced experts even today. In this study, we analyzed swing motion made byskillful players and beginers through K-L development technique etc., and we showsome results on the characteristics of the swing motion by the skillful and the not.
