Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Parametric Eigenspace Method is one of the famous method for 3D Object Recognition from appearance Parametric Eigenspace Method is based on Principal Component Analysis. So Eigenspace is a proper space in a sense of image compression, but not a proper space in a sense of parameter estimation. In this paper, we propose a new method to create a more appropriate space for parameter estimation. To confirm our method's efficiency, we experimented hand pose estimation using motion processor.
