Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In our previous paper, we suggested a method which invokes emotions of 20 kinds by integrating Emotion Eliciting Condition Theory proposed by Elliot with Emotion Invoking Calculations (EIC). However, the EIC do not provide strength of emotions. In this paper, we present revised EIC. In order to compute emotion strength, we first adopt various attribute values in addition to like/dislike degrees, and then use modifiers; we incorporate adjective phrases into the calculations to add their attributes and adverbial phrases to intensify the attributes. The revised EIC were simulated on the samples of 10 patterns and proved to be valid in measuring different degrees of emotion strength relative to their attribute values and modifiers.
