| 抄録(和) | 歩行者等安全支援情報通信システム(PICS:Pedestrian Information and Communication Systems)は「高齢者及び障害を持った歩行者に適時適切な情報を提供することにより安全、安心、利便、快適な移動を支援し、生活の質の向上を図る。」ことを目的として開発を進めてきた。 路側に光(赤外線)ビーコンを設置し、情報提供対象者のうち視覚障害者には音声で情報を提供するシステム及び、それ以外に対しては文字・画像等により情報を提供するシステムを試作しフィールド実験を行った。実験に参加した被験者は本システムが有効であると評価した。 本稿では試作システムの概要とフィールド実験結果の概要について報告する。 |
| 抄録(英) | Pedestrian Information and Communication Systems (PICS)are under developing. The purpose of the systems are to support the elderly and disabled persons to avoid traffic accidents and to expand their mobility and increase a chance of joining social communities by providing timely information of safety, easy, beneficial and comfortably. Infrared beacons are settled around the intersection. Infrared beacon provides voice information for visually impaired persons and text and image information for other people. Field test was conducted by two types of the prototype systems and almost all participants considered this system effective. This report discuss the prototype systems and the result of field lest. |
