Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) In this paper, possible impacts of the adaptive predecelerate running (a running behaviour that decreases velocity beforehand depend on road conditions in front of the driver) are evaluated using a traffic flow simulator. In addition, possible effects of inter-vehicle communication networks on such running are evaluated. Simulation results show that by such running, the road capacity improvement, the reduction of the travel time, the average velocity improvement and the standard deviation reduction of velocity can be achieved.
