Abstract(in English) This paper presents the field experimental results on adaptive antenna array transmit diversity (AAA-TD) with 4 antenna elements in W-CDMA forward link. In our scheme, the transmit antenna weights are generated by calibrating the receiver antenna weights generated in pilot symbol-assisted coherent adaptive antenna array diversity receiver (CAAA-DR) in reverse link. In the experiment, the calibration of the phase/amplitude variations of RF transceivers was performed. Field experimental results showed that the generated beam pattern can track the movement or AOA or the mobile station (MS) moving at the average vehicular speed of 30 km/h in 2-MS environment (1-interfering MS) and that the average BER performance of the MS in forward link can be improved compared to 1-antenna transmitter ; average BER improves by two orders of magnitude at the average received signal power of -85 dBm with the average transmitted SIR = -15 dB.
