Abstract(in English) This paper proposed the 2-step compensation method of base station (BS) transmit power for site diversity between cells in transmit power-controlled W-CDMA forward link. In the first step, the standard transmit power of each BS was compensated by the feedback control information from mobile station (MS), which is generated based on the received signal power measurement of each BS at MS. In the second step, the instantaneous transmit power of BS was controlled according to the transmit power control command bit from MS introducing the forgetting factor using the standard transmit power. It was found from the experimental results that the total BS average transmit E_b/N_0 can be almost minimized when the forgetting factor is about 0.8 and 0.6 for 2-and 3-cell site diversity case, and the total BS average transmit E_b/N_0 for the average BER of 10^<-36gt; for 2-cell site diversity can be decreased by about 0.8 dB compared to the without site diversity case.
