Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The OFDM radio transmission system has been adopted in the wireless LAN and carried out satndardization all over the world, because of robustness of the multipath fading. In this system, it is effective to introduce not only error control technology but also adaptive modulation in order to carry out the efficient data transmission under the multipath fading environment. In this paper, we propose the estimation scheme of C/N0 and delay spread that is necessary to construct adaptive modulation system of the OFDM. Moreover, we propose the adaptive modulation system of the OFDM using these estimation schemes. Afterward we evaluate its basic property and effectiveness of FEC by computer simulation.
