Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper proposes a novel fast calibration method of transmitting adaptive array antennas based upon the digital signal processing. In this method, synchronous orthogonal codes are transmitted and the combined signal is received by a single receiving antenna located at the known direction. At the receiving antenna system, complex correlation between the received signal and the transmitted signals prepared at the receiving system, is taken and thus the calibration factors are obtained. The obtained calibration factors are returned to the transmitting system and multiplied by each element of transmitting array antenna. In this paper, the validity of the proposed is shown by simulation.
