On the Weakness in M8 Encryption Algorithm

Abstract(in English) This paper disscuss cryptanaysis of M8, which is an encryption algorithm registerd in ISO9979. M8 is a symmetric block cipher, of which block size is 64-bit and variable rounds. It has a variable structure determined by system kyes. We discuss some weakness in the M8 encryption algorithm. There exist fixed point and opposite fixed point for some system keys. It show that M8 has equivalent keys and weak keys.
