Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Recently, several new digital signature schemes which have some new functions have been proposed. An undeniable signature scheme is one of these new signature schemes, whose verification protocol needs the cooperation of the signer. A designated confirmer signature scheme is one of the undeniable signature schemes, whose verification protocol can also be done by the confirmer designated by the signer. In this paper, we propose a new designated confirmer signature scheme by encrypting the signer's signature with confirmer's public key.
