Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Chaotic sequences generated by one-dimensional maps are good candidates of pseudorandom numbers. We have already shown that many kinds of i.i.d. (independent and identically distributed) binary random variables can be generated by a class of one-dimensional maps which are restricted to maps transforming an interval onto itself, called onto maps. In this paper, we design i.i.d. binary sequences based on piecewise linear N-shaped maps transforming an interval into itself. Furthermore, we theoretically evaluate correlation properties of chaotic binary sequences generated by such maps.
