Analysis of wave propagation in excitable media using chaotic neural networks

Abstract(in English) Wave propagations on excitable media are analyzed using a system (Coupled Map Lattice or Chatic Neural Network) of coupled chaotic neuron models which are the extensions of the Caianiello's neuronal model. Basic consideration on the condition of parameters so that the system could express excitable media are made and the existence of various propagation patterns of spiral waves such as simples pirals, drifting spirals, and spiral breakups, is numerically verified.
