Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) The author shows that the mean oscillation period of relaxation oscillators is decreased owing to the additive white noise with experiments on the Bonhoeffer-van der Pol (BVP) model and the astable multivibrator. The obtained changes in the mean and variance of the oscillation period against the variance of the noise voltages do not correspond with the expression based on the Wiener process with drift in the interval with absorbing and reflecting boundaries. The similar decreases in the oscillation period of relaxation oscillators are caused by adding a sinusoidal signal of small period.
