| Abstract(in English) | The optical spectrum, beat frequency and waveform of the multimode-oscillation in Er^<+3> -doped fiber ring lasers are studied both theoretically and experimentally. The dependence of the oscillation on ring length, emission power and polarization is measured and discussed. This paper clarified that the multimode-oscillation was especially influenced by the factors of the formed polarization in Er^<+3> -doped fiber ring lasers and the fluctuation of an optical coupler as polarizations. |
