Abstract(in English) | This paper describes the performance of a praseodymium doped fiber amplifier in which In/Pb-based fluoride glass and 1.02μm laser diode pumps are employed. We have achieved the small-signal gain of 34dB at a wavelength of 1300nm. And using the amplifier as a repeater, the penalty-free transmission at 622.08Mb/s and 2.488Gb/s were successfully demonstrated. |
