| 抄録(和) | 単一モードファイバ中で起きるsupercontinuum (SC)光発生およびその超大容量通信への応用について述べる。分散減少/凸型分散ファイバ中におけるSC光の発生機構およびSC光発生に伴う雑音発生機構について理論的・実験的に解説する。さらに、SC光のサブピコ秒波長可変パルス光源への応用、およびテラビット級超大容量伝送を実現した波長多重パルス光源への応用について紹介する。 |
| 抄録(英) | Supercontinuum (SC) pulse generation in a singlemode optical fiber and its applications in large capacity communications are described. Firstly, we reveal the mechanism of SC pulse generation in decreasing dispersion fiber with convex dispersion profile. Noise mechanism im SC generation is also investigated theoretically and experimentally. Finally, the applications of SC light source are introduced for large capacity transmission over one terabit per second as well as for sub-picosecond optical pulse source with wavelength tunability. |
