Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We construct a low phase noise optical pulse source using an optoelectronic oscillator (OEO), which is a microwave ring oscillator composed of a fiver delay line. The key features are twofold; the stabilization of the repetition frequency by injection locking and the suppression of phase drift by the phase-locked loop. It is shown that the stable optical pulse train without phase drift is generated and the timing jitter of the injection-locked OEO is suppressed to less than 50fs, which is much lower than that of the reference microwave source.
