Abstract(in English) In order to improve the luminous efficiency for positive column PDP, DC memory drive scheme was examined with the object of reducing sustain discharge current. We contrived a new cell structure in the positive column cell to lower write voltage and to improve interference between cells at DC memory drive, and fabricated a positive column PDP with 3 electrodes in each display cell. Stable DC memory operation was obtained in the whole effective area and a luminous efficiency was improved to 1.4 lm/W
