Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) This paper elucidates operations for route-change in mobile ATM networks employing path extension or our previously proposed center-controlled dynamic rerouting method. First, the route-change in case of the path extension method is illustrated, and it is shown that two types of route-change operations are required at only ATM switches embedded with old and new base stations. Second, the route-change in case of the center-controlled dynamic rerouting method is illustrated, and it is shown that five types of route-change operations are required at different five types of ATM switches.
