Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) According to the wide spread of mobile communication services, a highly reliable home location register (HLR) is required because of its important functions such as location data management function and service control function. We proposed HLR duplex system that is comprised of an act HLR node and a remotely located standby HLR node, and standby HLR node controls services in case of act HLR node failures. In this paper, we first describe our proposed system architecture and its prototype system. And then we show evaluation results of HLR node takeover procedure and inconsistent location information recovery procedure based on the prototype system.
