Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) To be accompanied by the widely spread of the Internet, demands of the network services such as video and voice are increased. Since these services require guarantee of their communication qualities, the Differentiated Service (DS) is introduced to realize priority controls for network communications. This paper proposes a congestion control method for the DS with CBQ (Class Based Queueing), by using the explicit congestion notification in which each router informs its congestion status to its relaying end hosts. From the network computer simulations of our proposal method, we evaluate the mean transmission delay for each priority class on our network model.
