Abstract(in Japanese) | (See Japanese page) |
Abstract(in English) | It has been considered that locating the abandoned drain pipes and the holes dug by the moles which cause water leakage under the bottom of the paddy field is extremely difficult. This paper describes how those technical difficulties, especially, in the Japanese paddy field where the radio propagation attenuation is considered to be greater than conventional soils, have been solved and how the improved performance have had been tested at various paddy field around Japan. In conclusion, it is reported that the attenuation at the very wet clay in the paddy field of Hachirogata were greater than that of relatively wet clay of the paddy field in Tsukuba City which has similar electrical conductivity of the Kanto Loam. |
