Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We introduce a radar polarimetry technique to a borehole radar measurement. Surface shape and the inner structure of permeability subsurface fractures can be estimated using the polarimetric borehole radar. In this paper, we propose a classification of reflector using the signal energy of polarization. We classified a subsurface fracture and estimated the roughness of the subsurface fracture in the Mirror Lake Site (U.S.A). We considered the relation between the shape of reflector and the polarization ratio in the ASSE Salt Mine Site, Germany,
