Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Various geophysical methods such as electrical resistivity, electromagnetic and ground penetrating radar have been carried out for evaluating the keyhole-shaped mounded tomb named as the Iwabaru futagozuka Kofun located in Kumamoto Prefecture, Japan. Horizontal profiling and vertical sounding surveys were conducted in order to visualize the anomalous body buried in a three-dimension. Two anomalous zones were detected over the circular mound by horizontal profiling survey and 3-D images of anomalous bodies were constructed by CG technique derived from 2-D inversion results of vertical electric sounding data at multiple stations over the tomb.
