Abstract(in English) | A new technology of detecting underground water is on development, applying Electrokinetic phenomena that causes electric potential change in the ground generated from water flow. The paper reports a remarkable potential change observed at the time of water flood during excavation. The observation site is surrounded by mud stone under -50m of ground level in Sagamihara city, Kanagawa prefecture. A stream potential coefficient for sedimentary soft rocks was approximately estimated. |
