Abstract(in English) The lossless (reversible) discrete cosine transform (DCT) is a very useful transform because it can realize easily an unified lossy/lossless image coding with a compatibility with conventional JPEG and MPEG. But a lot or works on lossless DCT concentrate mainly on retaining the losslessibility or compatibility with original DCT, they have no consideration for the number of computations, especially multiplications. We propose a new lossless 8-point fast DCT with few multipliers in this report. The proposed method employs the rotation transform and the lossless multiplier-free 4-point Walsh-Hadamard transform, it results in lossless fast DCT with few multipliers and compatibility with original DCT.
