Abstract(in English) We reported that the metalcoating hollow fiber membrane coated with metal on a hollow fiber membrane surface could kill effectively trapped bacteria applying with an electric current. We also showed that this system could be used as a new bacterial gene collection system. In this report, we tried the new gene collection method for diagnosis of E,coli O157 infection. As a result of the experiment, the vero-toxin 1 gene of E.coli O157 or O26 was collected by this system. The gene collection system is the simplest and the time which is necessary to collect the gene is about 5 minutes. This short time is effective for the early examination.
