Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Cortical activities evoked by auditory stimuli generate weak magnetic field known as Auditory Evoked Field (AEF), which is detected by Magnetoencephalography (MEG). Most previous studies on AEF are based on monaural or dicotic listening, although human being utilizes interaural difference of acoustic parameters for auditory scene analysis. In our experiments, we presented an M-sequence pseudo-white-noise stream with interaural time difference (ITD) to subjects. The results indicated that the neural activities on auditory cortex at the latency around 140ms and 210ms were observed and were cleary different from the responce to noise-burst stimuli which reported previously.
