Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) Functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI) is an indispensable modality for brain functional researches. However, since the time required for the measurements are relatively long, subjects tend to sleep in measurements. Electroencephalograph (EEG) is a signal that can be used for the awaking state of the subjects. We developed an EEG monitoring system that can be used in MRI and tried to use in MRI. In high magnetic field in MRI, artifacts, approximately 1Hz, larger than EEG signals were observed. The source of the artifacts was estimated and reduction of the artifacts was also tried.
