Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We made some GUI (graphical user interface) simulator models for prescription order entry system and examined the effect of task division to user's operation and working memory. The feature of procedure is consideration of the situation that the doctor input prescription data into the system, while he treats a patient. In the experiment, we asked subjects to remember one sentence consisting of the information about patient's condition, while he was operating the system. Based on the result, we indicated the guidelines for designing the suitable GUI for prescription order entry. When user input the data in the format including only one window, it is difficult to input quickly. And dividing the input fields for drag name or usage into the different window isn't suitable for user to operate smoothly.
