3D brain vessel presentation on a immersive projection system

Abstract(in English) This document describes 3D (three dimensional) presentation of brain blood vessels on an immersive projection system. In this study, MRA (magnetic resonance angiography) images covering a whole head were obtained using 3D-TOF (time of flight) sequence, blood vessels were separated from MRA images and a network of blood vessels in a human brain was reconstructed. The reconstructed 3D image allows us to grasp the distribution of blood vessels and are thought to be available for diagnosis and treatment of a brain.
