Abstract(in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
Abstract(in English) We propose a real-time telemedicine system using ultrasound (US) image sequence. This system use Internet Protocol (IP), therefore this system can provide a real-time telemedicine in the Internet. This system treats with three transmission mode that are the "Meeting Mode", the "Instruction Mode" and the "Diagnosis Mode". The experimental result shows that the system can transmit a B-mode US with 1.93 frame per second (fps) and a color doppler US with 1.43 fps using 128 kbps network and the system can transmit a B-mode US with 23.33 fps and a color doppler US with 17.29 fps using 1.5 Mbps network.
